Try this out and you can always let us know if you have any problems connecting. Click more below to get a more detailed version of this connection guide.
(Note: Some of the screens below may have a black mask please ignore them, they are there to block internal security measures and protect the server and our internal network.)
1) Visit http://www.teamspeak.com/ locate the image below and click on it.

2) Now you will be presented with a few links to download from. Select what is needed and download. The two you should most likely need are displayed below. If you are not sure try the Client 32-bit (version number is not important as you are downloading the latest client.) click the download button to the right of that link.

3) Now you will see a legal notice on their website. Read the notice, at the bottom of the notice is two links "I agree" or "I don't agree" if you want to use Teamspeak and agree to the terms they set forth please select "I agree." to download the client.

4) You should then see the screen below or very similar. Let's save this to your My Documents folder or whatever folder you would like as long as you remember where you put it. Sometimes it is good to write it down we will need it very soon.

5) Once the download completes find the file on your disk or depending on your browser it may allow you to open it at this time. Simply double click on the file you just downloaded to start the client install.

6) Generally you want to accept all the defaults when installing this. We can get into advanced settings some other time, if you are reading this then lets just keep it basic. Follow the next few screens if you want to deviate from this, it is ok as long as you know what you are doing.

7) The screen below will display during the install and once the install is complete just select the button "close" on the bottom. It won't let you click the button until it is finished an not grayed out.

8) Now that the install has completed we can connect to the Fauquier County Online Scanner. So go ahead and open the client up it may connect you initially to the teamspeak network or you will have no connection. Locate the menu bar at the top where it says "connections" and click on it. Now click on "connect."

9) Now match your screen to what I have displayed below, be sure to replace "YOURNAMEHERE" with your actual nick name that will be displayed in the channel once connected.

10) If everything goes as planned you should see the screen below, the nickname "Scanner" is the one broadcasting the audio feed that you are listening for. If you have problems hearing ensure your sound it turned up and your microphone is off/muted using the mute button at the top of the client in the menu bar area.

11) If you want to bookmark the Fauquier County Online Scanner ensure you are connected like the screen above then simply click "Bookmarks" from your menu and select "Add Bookmarks." a bookmark window will appear and the lower left of the window click on the "More" button.

12) Now just fill out the screen like you see below. Ensure you click on the checkbox that sates "Connect on Startup." this will ensure Fauquier County Online Scanner starts when you open the TeamSpeak client in the future so you don't have to manually connect all the time.
